Todays story is quite short, it is about my visit to the bhoot bangla in Bhopal.
Now many of you must know that every city has a house that’s definitely haunted or rumoured to be.
This particular house that I will talk about first, was built in bhopal in the times of the nawabs and later saw a lot of glory and many famous people.
Sadly, it was then left abandoned due to the owner’s family’s property dispute.
It was quite a mansion if you ask me, it was huge had a grand entrance and was spacious for as many as 50 people.
Now this house was also quite close to the kabristan or the burying ground and so many rumours sparked about how it was haunted.
Although, this was not the only history that was related to it. A man also murdered his wife here after which people complained of seeing a womanly figure in white haunting the house and looking at people pass by.
Everyone living on the hill of koh-e-fiza would absolutely avoid the land and the mansion as they did not want any bad omens haunting them.
As a young teenager though, I was curious.
I wanted to know if ghosts actually existed or not!
So, I began my journey sneaking out in the evening to make enormous revelations about this house.
I reached the mansion with my brother and honestly it was quite dark by then.
We weren’t really scared and kept going further. Before we could even enter the house, a horrifying scream burst our ears.
We tried to run but no matter how fast we went we would reach further and further to the gate!
No, we weren’t high.
We also saw this figure all of a sudden which hung upside down as a bat. We put the torch of our phones on and saw this extremely scary thing covered in black tar hung on the tree dripping blood on us.
We lost it.
We screamed and ran to the gate faster and faster and tried not looking back.
I knew we both were panicking and praying and the same time.
We had pictures of our gods in our head and I believe that was what helped us reach the gate.
Everything happened so quickly that we couldn’t comprehend what had happened the moment we were out.
Right outside stood a lady with a stick, she walked towards us and stopped.
We were so horrified that we didn’t notice until a minute into conversing with her that her feet were twisted to the back.
She said to us in a deep tired voice, “mera beta mila tumko? Usse ped pe chadna Achha lagta hai!” (Did you find my son ? He likes to climb trees)
We got even more freaked out and ran as fast as we could!
We knew she was not human and we didn’t want to wait there until we were dead.
We somehow managed reaching our house and sat down in my room.
“What the fuck was that!” My brother said in a tired voice.
“I have no idea but I am not sleeping alone tonight!” I said to him in fear.
That night we slept in my room as we were way too freaked out to be alone.
Unfortunately, it did not end there.
I woke up at night and feeling cold and uncomfortable.
I tried to find the light switch and couldn’t find it.
I was not clearly awake and my vision was really blurry, the moment I rubbed my eyes and tried switching my phone lights on, my body froze!
I was in that house, the walls were filled with blood. The woman in white was standing facing a wall, the room was filled with screaming and crying souls hanging from the roof.
I saw my brother sleeping right next to me and tried waking him up. Right then I felt a huge hit on my head.
I don’t remember anything after that.
I do remember that the next day I woke up in my room next to my brother.
I asked him if he had experienced anything similar? But he said that he didn’t.
I still don’t understand what exactly had happened that night. It’s almost as if I was in a lucid dream.
We don’t talk much about it now.
But to answer my question, if ghosts really exist?
They do! But there’s worse things you should beware about.
